Killington’s Final Snow Patch Melts

There was sad news over the weekend from Killington, as the last snow patch on Superstar melted. The Vermont ski resort, whose late day of lift-serviced operations was on June 1st, announced on July 2nd that they had lost the final patch. We send our condolences to The Beast of the East during this challenging time.

For the last bit of snow, The Beast held a contest as to when the snow on Superstar would finally melt. The winner of the contest will receive a GoPro Hero 10. They will be announcing who won the contest today.

While we eagerly await the reopening of Killington this fall, they’ll have a variety of summer activities going on. Some of these activities include an extensive lift-serviced mountain biking network, hiking trails, an aerial adventure park, a mountain coaster, a ropes course, and riding the K-1 Gondola.
