Bummer news out of Montana where America’s only summer ski area is closed due to lack of snow. Beartooth Basin opened on May 26th with the promise to operate “until the snow melts.” Unfortunately Mother Nature did not cooperate and heavy rains took a major toll on their snowpack forcing the closure. Wouldn’t hold out too much hope but they reopen if they get fresh snow. Regardless of how short the season was, we want to thank the good folks at Beartooth for all their hard work. Cheers!
