Lucky for Pietro Vitalini the snow gods were looking favorably upon him and provided a cushioned landing after he cartwheeling over the fence at Kitzbühel back in 1995.  If it hadn’t snowed 3 feet-3.5 feet the night before, Pietro would have landed on a boulder field.  Don’t even want to imagine what would have happened if it hadn’t snowed.
