Kelly Canyon Resort is in the midst of a transformative period. The Indy Pass partner added a new triple chairlift and a magic carpet for the 2021-22 season and new snowmaking machines before this past season. This offseason the Idaho ski resort will be working on a variety of significant projects.

First, they’ll install a surface lift between Lifts 2 & 4, giving guests easier access to the mountain’s East side.

The probable location of the surface lift is marked by the oval.

Lift 4 will see significant renovations, with its communication line will be replaced. This will lead to increased efficiency and a smoother ride.

According to the Rexburg Standard Journal, a tubing park is also being planned, with its location currently being determined.

Further snowmaking improvements will be made, with snowmaking ponds being built in order to open earlier in the season.

They are currently getting ready to construct glamping and treehouse sites, adding a new off-season experience to the ski resort. The base lodge will also be remodeled.

More details about their summer plans are down below.
