Some boaters off Long Island, New York got up close and personal with a humpback whale on Memorial Day.
Nicole Liotta was taking a video of some dolphins off the shore of Long Beach when the humpback breached and knocked into her boat. She and the three other passengers can be heard screaming in shock as the giant marine mammal breached and gave a little love tap to their vessel.
Thankfully the whale only delivered a glancing blow because they can weigh 88,000lbs+ and could easily sink a boat of that size with a direct hit.
