Yesterday, a major wet slide avalanche was filmed over at Crystal Mountain Resort in Washington. Ski Patrol used a Gasex avalanche system to release the slide on the Powder Bowl. The trail was closed at the time of the blast. The video down below is absolutely nuts, as many trees ended up getting caught in the wreckage.
Crystal Mountain Resort also posted some photos and videos of the incident, reminding guests to respect trail closures, as you really don’t want to be exposed to a scary situation like this.
