Alta wasn’t the Utah ski resort to reach a historic snowfall total yesterday. Solitude passed 800 inches of snowfall on Tuesday thanks to 11 inches of snow over a 24-hour period. They surpassed their all-time record on March 27th, Currently, Solitude’s snowfall total sits at 809 inches. Here are some of the record-breaking stats that have been achieved this season:
- Most snow in a single month: March 2023, 223 inches
- Snowiest winter on record: 809 inches (and counting)
- The longest season in resort history: 193 days

With Solitude opening back on November 10th, the Utah ski resort is currently having its longest season ever. Solitude will remain open daily through May 21st, so you’ve got lots of time to get some quality spring skiing and powder turns in.
