Chinese Olympic snowboarder Su Yiming was on hand at the debut of his wax figure featured at Madame Tussauds Beijing on April 21st. Yiming made as China’s first Olympic champion in men’s snowboard big air at the he 2022 Beijing Winter Games.
According to CNET, being immortalized as a wax figure is an expensive and involved process costing roughly $200,000 requiring a team of around 20 skilled artists 4 months to create. Quite the honor.
