We started in Chamonix:

“At first sight a European skier may wonder why you would need a pass for all those resorts in North America and across the world that you will probably never ski,” said the PlanetSKI content editor, James Cove.
“However if you are planning to ski a few resort in the USA in Canada next winter and you want to have a short break of two in the resorts in the Alps and the Pyrenees on the Ikon Pass then simply do the maths.
“It can work out at exceptional value and opens up a whole world of skiing,” added James.

It seems PlanetSKI readers are also impressed.
“I can highly recommend this pass if you fancy skiing across the pond. I’ve skied 26 days on it in 11 different resorts in Italy, Austria and the US,” said Melanie Bowesman-Jones on our Facebook page.
