Meet Charlie, a 72-year-old local legend at Vermont’s iconic Mad River Glen. Over the past 70 years Charlie has developed a unique approach to skiing the bumps under the single chair where you don’t ski in the trough and prefers to go over top of moguls but in a horizontal directions resulting in a “swaying motion.” Charlie recommends you be prepared to use any technique to stay safe in the bumps and not be afraid to heckle your friends on the chairlift.
