Ski Utah, a non-profit trade organization with the aim of promoting Utah’s ski/snowboard industry since 1975, has chosen an official brand anthem and its a tune off Don McCloskey’s new album The Chaos and The Beauty. Titled Unbecoming, don’t think the title necessarily encapsulates the skiing and snowboarding in place that touts itself for having the “the greatest snow on earth” but the reframe of “you’re all I wanna do” will resonate with all us diehard skiers and riders. If you could pick an anthem for the Utah ski scene what would it be?

I know it’s unbecoming For a man my age To feel anything but anger To feel anything but rage But I want you in my sweater I want you in my hair I’m old enough to know better And young enough to not care So if you dare Look me in the eye Tell me it ain’t true
You’re all I wanna do You’re all I wanna do You’re all I wanna do You’re all I wanna do
If I could do it all over I’d do it all the same That’s a lie that I once told you To try to help you stay sane Cause when all those roads untaken Start to shimmer and shine While you’re hacking through the thickets It can play evil tricks on the mind I know it’s fine it’s fine You tell me all the time But is it true?
You’re all I wanna do You’re all I wanna do You’re all I wanna do You’re all I wanna do
Emerging from the wreckage Of my misdirected youth Graying like a temple Jagged as a tooth I know the cruelest thing they told you Is that there’s always hope But like these bones that hold you We’re strongest where we broke So take this heart With all it’s scars And make it beat anew
You’re all I wanna do You’re all I wanna do You’re all I wanna do You’re all I wanna do
