The Blinded Veterans Association (BVA) welcomed a group of veterans to an adaptive skiing and snowboarding clinic at Steamboat Resort, CO last season.
The BVA was founded in 1945 as a nonprofit to “help veterans and their families meet and overcome the challenges of blindness”.
I absolutely loved the short video below that was filmed during the clinic. Listening to the veterans talk about how much being back on the slopes meant to them literally brought a tear to my eye.
To all of our veterans- thank you for your service.
