Just like that Winter Park Resort has come out of nowhere and announced that they will open for Winter ’22-’23 on Monday, October 31st. It will mark the resort’s earliest opening in their 82-year history!
As of now, Winter Park will be the third resort open in Colorado behind Arapahoe Basin, which opened last Sunday, and Keystone who plans to open tomorrow (10/28).
WP has recorded 16″ of fresh snow already this week, and they’re expecting more throughout the weekend.

The resort will open at 9am on Halloween and plans to “run at least two base-area lifts and a handful of trails.”
