The video below shows a huge moose running through the small town of Windsor, Vermont over the weekend.
“This moose was running around my son’s school just before the morning bell. Officers were following him to keep him and the community safe. Just after this video he ran down a side street and that was the last I saw of him. I hope he made it safely back to the woods.”
Officials estimate that around 3,000 moose live in Vermont. Bull moose can get up to 7 feet tall at the shoulder and weigh up to 1,500 pounds.
