Vail Resorts continues to host auctions for old ski chairs, which is a win for ski bums. This time, Hunter Mountain in New York is currently auctioning off old chairs from the Z lift, trail signs, banners, and trail maps until tomorrow at 12 p.m. In my opinion, the highlight of the auction is the old trail maps, which span various eras of the mountain’s history.
The proceeds from the auction will go towards the EpicPromise Foundation. If you win one of the items, you have to go to pick it up at a specific location on the mountain on October 8, October 9th, October 15th, or October 16th from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. You can view the auction items here.
