Nobody was gored or injured in this incident, but the tourist posing with two full-grown bison was certainly asking for it.
Yellowstone National Park says to give bison at least 25 yards of space for photos and viewing. This guy was no more than 6 feet away from the beasts.
“Bison have injured more people in Yellowstone than any other animal. Bison are unpredictable and can run three times faster than humans. Always stay at least 25 yards (23 m) away from bison.”
