Lindsey Vonn Meets With IOC President To Push Games Returning To SLC

Lindsey Vonn was in Switzerland recently to support Salt Lake City, Utah’s bid to host either the 2030 or 2034 Winter Olympic Games.

Vonn met directly with International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach, and said that SLC’s bid was “positively received”.

I, personally, would love if the games returned to SLC so I could attend some Olympic competitions without leaving the country.

Are you hoping that the Winter Olympics return to Salt Lake City? I’ve seen and heard varying opinions on the matter.

Let us know what you think.

Full post by Lindsey Vonn below:

“A very successful trip to Switzerland visiting President Bach and the International Olympic Committee.

Our Salt Lake City Olympic bid was positively received and I’m looking forward to hopefully more discussions as the bid process continues. I am also excited to announce that I am officially the Chairman of the Athlete Experience for the potential Salt Lake games. Looking forward to taking what I have experienced and making it better for the next generation of athletes and families.

One step at a time, and every step counts. Let’s go! ????????”
