Don’t really want to call out any one manufacturer of this type of trash can but they cost around $200 and aren’t worth 2 cents. If you really want to deter bears from getting into you kitchen scraps you need a real deal steel container that encloses over a traditional traditional can and those run between $800–$1000. That’s a lot of cheddar.
So I prematurely thanked the bear cans last night. As you can see this mama bear used her mouth to pinch the latch and open the trash can.
