The globe’s most progressive snowboarders have heeded the call to the Woodward Peace Park Championships from snowboarding visionary, Olympian, and perennial Dew Tour and X Games halfpipe favorite, Danny Davis, to celebrate the season and their sport the only way they know how: having fun and letting loose. Woodward Peace Park is a unique, ever-evolving terrain park experiment designed to inspire and maximize creativity and expression. Live from Mt. Bachelor, OR, and celebrating its 10th edition, the Woodward Peace Park Championships return once again (after a two-year hiatus) as the annual culmination of this snowboarding movement.
The Championships are a multi-day peer-judged contest, open only to invited professional snowboard athletes, in which they match strengths on a special, custom-built course. Three days of competition sees snowboarding’s leading women and men battle for the coveted Peace Park Axe as they mix it up on some astounding features in the Half Park, the High Hip and Handplant Wall. Stay tuned for an all-star slash and burn throwback to snowboarding’s roots: the Dual Slalom. Check out where on the mountain you can peep some of the action this April 20-24!
