Bobbie Stevens was sitting on her couch in St. Anthony, a town on the northern reaches of the Great Northern Peninsula of the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador, when her dog alerted her to what she thought was someone on her front porch. When she opened the door to check it out she came face to face with a massive polar bear. Check that moment out below:VOCM reports she only found out afterward the bear had been on her roof by watching a neighbors security footage. The fact the bear was on the roof was quite concerning to her because its old and she had her doubts if it could support the weight of a polar bear (males average 990lbs). She later joked with her granddaughter:
“If Tommy hadn’t put one more nail, then the bear probably would have come down through.”
Can you imagine sitting on your living room couch watching TV and a polar bear comes crashing through the ceiling? Wild.
