The Armada JJ has consistently been one of the best freestyle powder skis for going on two decades now. The skis have made waves in the freeride industry, and Armada isn’t showing any signs of stopping production.
In fact, Armada has partnered with evo.com and Alpine Initiatives on a limited-edition JJ donned with artwork from the legendary JP Auclair himself. Only 45 pairs have been made.
100% of the proceeds from the skis will be given to Alpine Initiatives’ Canary Club, a non-profit started by JP Auclair that helps young people safely experience the backcountry.
Armada and evo raised $15,750 with last year’s model, and hope to raise even more this year.
The skis are still available (at the time of writing of the article) and can only be purchased at evo.
I really, and I mean REALLY, want a pair, but I just can’t justify buying another pair of skis at the moment… Or, maybe I can? Dammit.
Here I go again.
Someday, mark my words, I will get my hands on a pair of these beauties.
