The sixth-largest ski resort in North America will soon have an impressive new lift. Mt. Bachelor in Oregon announced Wednesday that they will have the Skyliner Express repaired in time for the 2022-23 season, and then will replace the lift the following offseason. During this season, the Skyliner lift(a high-speed quad) has not operated due to a variety of maintenance issues and supply chain delays. The new lift will be a high-speed detachable six-pack chairlift, which will increase capacity by 50%. Due to unprecedented demand for new lifts, they will have to wait until the summer of 2023 to begin construction. The lift services beginner, intermediate, advanced terrain, along with multiple Woodward terrain parks.
