Congratulations Continue for Dave Ryding

The Rocket finished the season in 8th place in the slalom World Cup. It has been heralded as a superb performance, and earlier Dave told PlanetSKI he was likely to be in the starting gate for next season. NEW

The 35-year old finally reached his goal with a win at Kitzbuhel and at the end of the season he is in the Top Ten in eighth place overall.

By any criteria it is a fabulous performance by GB’s best ever skier.

The overall slalom title was won by Henrik Kristoffersen from Norway.

Dave Ryding had a disappointing time at the Beijing Winter Olympics, but his season will be remembered for his performances in the World Cup.
