Climate change strikes again. Following a large rain and wind storm two weekends ago, Timber Ridge Ski Area in Gobles, Michigan announced on March 7th that they would be closing for the season. You can’t really blame them, as the snowpack from their post below is a mix between puddles and ice. According to WWMT, the ski area opened later than usual (after Christmas) due to warm weather. On the bright side, the ski area is planning many improvements during their offseason, so it looks like they’ll be coming back to stronger next winter.
