Have you ever seen a sign warning about falling ice in big cities? They tend to look like the picture above. They’re basically a way for the building to avoid getting sued, and to let you know that your head could be struck by massive chunks of falling ice at any moment.
Really comforting, right?
Check out the video below that has just surfaced from New York City. It shows a pedestrian just barely avoiding a massive chunk of ice falling from a skyscraper.
I don’t know for sure if that ice would have killed somebody, but I wouldn’t want to find out…
