Don’t call it a comeback. After dealing with a devastating wildfire in August of 2021, Sierra At Tahoe announced that they will be reopening for one weekend only this season: April 9-10. The following lifts will be open: Rock Garden, Easy Rider Express, and the Slider Carpet. There will be a limited amount of terrain open, but a terrain park will be a part of their weekend plans. The weekend will celebrate the seventy-fifth anniversary of the mountain and will feature a Subaru Winter Fest on Saturday, and a Methodology Banked Slalom competition on Sunday that is sponsored by Vans. The mountain is aiming for a full reopening next season. Click here to learn more about Sierra At Tahoe’s plans for their reopening weekend.
