Snowy conditions caused 170 vehicles to crash in a devastating pile up on I-84 east of Pendleton, OR last week. The crash spanned nearly 2 miles, and closed I-84 between Pendleton and La Grande for hours.
At least 19 people were injured in the incident, but no deaths have been reported.

KGW News: “Dozens of crashes about 21 miles east of Pendleton caused the closure of Interstate 84 between Pendleton and La Grande, the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) reported Monday afternoon. ODOT fully reopened the freeway early Tuesday morning, which was several hours ahead of schedule.”
